The problem
An endless supply of puzzles sounds generous and quietly removes the point. If you can press next until you get a board you like, your time on it means nothing, and there is nobody to compare it with. A puzzle that everyone is playing at once is a different thing to sit down to.
How it works
The board is built from the date itself, so the same day produces the same three boards on every device, with no server handing them out and no account to sign into. Your progress is kept on the device you played on. The home screen shows each board as Not started, In progress, or Solved with your time, and counts down to the next set.

What you would use it for
Compare a time that is worth comparing
Your seven minutes on today's hard means something next to somebody else's seven minutes, because it is the same board and not a board of roughly similar difficulty.
Stop at the end of it
There are three boards. When they are done, they are done. That is a feature, and it is the one people say they miss most in apps with an infinite queue.
