How to share your sudoku result

By the end of this you will have copied a result carrying your level and time, with a link that cannot give the board away.

Before you start: A finished board.

Steps

1. Finish a board. The screen reads "Solved".
2. Read the line under it, which names the hardest technique that board needed.
3. Choose "Share result".
4. Choose "Copy link" to put the result and the link on your clipboard. The app confirms with "Result and link copied".
5. Or choose "Choose where" to hand it to another app.
6. Choose "Back to the board" to return.

What happens

The copied result carries your level and your time along with a link. The link holds the day and a short code, never the board and never the solution, so opening it cannot spoil anything for whoever you send it to. They get the same board you played, because everyone that day does.

If something goes wrong

You want to share the finished grid

There is no control for that, deliberately. A picture of a solved grid is the answer, and anyone you send it to who has not played yet loses the puzzle.

Questions

Can the link give away the solution?

No. The link contains the day and a short code. It never contains the board and never contains the solution.

What does the person who opens it see?

Your level and your time, and a way to play the same board. It is the board they can still play that day.
